This tutorial on the Gastric Acid Secretion process was originally designed by Debbi Weaver at the University of Melbourne, Department of Physiology. The version she developed was built with SuperCard for Mac OS, and was ported to Windows by Richard Gaskin of Fourth World Media Corporation using MetaCard.

Making extensive use of animated simulations, the product was converted well within the established budget and is now available for an audience ten times larger than before.

Exploring the estuary was originally developed by the Aquatic Outreach Institute using HyperCard for Mac OS.

The Math Generator was created entirely in MetaCard. Using MetaCard allows KIDware Technologies to stay ahead of the competition who may be using other languages. It literally generates, checks, and sorts hundreds of random numbers in the blink of an eye.

MetaCard is used for courseware and demonstrations at the University of Arizona, Tucson. This stack shows a colorful ball and stick molecular representation of a polymer. Students are prompted to "Enter the correct name of this polymer and win!" Answers are saved and mailed to the lab teacher along with the students' score on the required interactive demonstration. HypeMATH is a is a hypermedia system produced by the Institute of Mathematics of Helsinki University of Technology to teach mathematics to first year students. It presents problems from different domains such as Geography and Biology that have mathematical solutions. Students use a dictionary stack and tools such as calculators and Mathematica to solve the problems. The stacks keep track of each students progress through the course so they can stop and restart as needed.

xtal-3d draws 3D crystal structures by constructing SGI OpenInventor files. It reads atom coordinates in formats such as CCSL, Shelx, Rietveld, DBWS, and PDB. The structures can be rotated in 3D and zoomed with the mouse. The MetaCard interface makes it easy to change atom colors, bonding, etc. It was developed at the Institut Laue-Langevin and is available on their anonymous FTP server.

Budget or Bust! is a time-based interactive multimedia simulation in which you balance income and expenses with Study, Leisure and Job time over a one year period at university.

It was developed by The Flexible Learning Company for the Financial Literacy Centre at Warwick University to support the on-going provision of education materials for schools and colleges.
